Carpin
« on: June 01, 2009, 09:09:11 PM »
Got out for a little while today and the carp were in a eating mood. This is a pretty good Carp for the area I fish and the other is average. I got five total today, what a hoot!

Note the high $ custom casting platform.

Mike, it looks like you must have really great balance. I'd fall in the first time standing on something like that! :D
Fish on!

I've been out carpin' in some local creeks, streams, and rivers. They seem like they are out in full force this year!

Yeah, he has good balance. You should have seen him in FL on a ladder while trolling around.  :o

Myself and a couple of hoods have been out carpin alittle bit too...

Stuck a couple.. had alot of bites.... We need to put the time in to find some cleaner flats

Notice the great balance......  on ladders...

I need someone to show me a scum fly..  we had dozens of fish with there lips out of the water with nothing there  but scum as far as I could see

Sweeeet Jesus!

I had a sweet deal come up from ILuv2LuvCarp.com to write an in depth article on catching Carp on Priest but I turned it down. I care too much about the pristine carp waters on Priest to sell out like a cheap whore to the brigades of corn holers that would surely follow.

Damn, after his incident on the Drake things have really gone down hill for that poor guy....

I'm saving Priest and the carp for me. I got another offer today from AnonymousRedRippingFlyAnglers.Com and a Live bait Trophy fishing mag called Hook The Brookie. It's on!

Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
