Where to fish skip jack herring?
Hi i am new to Tennessee and i have started fishing j priest. I have been doing a little research on the lake and plan on fishing for some striped bass and catfish this summer. Back home in Texas i used shad for this. But i have been told that skipjack herring is the best bait to use here. Where is the best place to find this bait. From doing a little research, i read that it was hard to net these fish with a cast net. And that the best way to get them was with rod and real. And around fast moving water. So are there any skip jack under the priest dam or are there better places to get this fish?
