Elk River Harms Dam
« on: August 08, 2007, 06:14:08 PM »
Took "Precious" to his first day of 1st grade, dropped him off at 7:40, was on the water by 8:10

Harms Dam is 6 or so river miles below Fayetteville, water was 84.3 at 8:10am, figured I might hang into a Smallie, but I knew it is fished to death by the bait fishers, had to kill 2 hours before I picked up my little man. Ended up on the dam with my #5 tossing Hopper to no avail, watched the Skip Jack work the dam and the Gar.

Congrats on the first day of school!

That is some warm water that early in the morning. Whew, we need a cool spell and rain.
