Anyone? There's fishing to be had, even in the rain and with high water...

I'm looking at Sunday and Monday if tomorrow's rain doesn't blow it all out.

Fought the wind and strong current most of the afternoon, stuck a 3/0 into my finger, got a bit of sunburn. Decided it was time to leave and made one more cast.

Only takes one to make it better than yard work.

I don't think they've gone yet -- she was plump and didn't have a mark on her. They're probably running a bit later than normal.

Nice fattie Dave!

Mid 40's?  Glad you got a last cast fish...they definitely make you work for them.
Hope you get out before the next front pushes more rain.

Yeah, somewhere around there. Didn't measure her, she was pretty po-ed and not behaving nicely. Have GOT to order a pair of those Lindy gloves!

Will get out somewhere this afternoon, though probably not for muskies.
