Since I couldn't get on the Elk, I hit the Duck at Cortner's Mill... picked up a couple nice fat stockers aboiut 10 in. apiece on my new 6'6", 2wt.... bamboo of course.

Is there still public acess to the river at the Cortner mill dam site? Did you fish at Dements Bridge?

It seems to be still public!!!  No I didn't try the bridge area... I normally only have a couple hours to fish so the mill is just perfect.

Cortners continues to fish well... but seemingly much better when the flow is at about 100+.  The fish seem to appreciate the higher flows, although they bite well both high and low on GRHEs.
