White River Arkansas
« on: October 08, 2012, 01:59:34 PM »
Hey guys, been a few since i posted a TR. I just got back from a week long trip to Arkansas. The trip was great as I had a coupke of my favorite fishing buddies with me.
That was actually DD on the right, he looks pretty scary in the morning!!! The trip was a gathering of the FFF southern conclave, our local FFF club attends and participates in. I just tagged along to fish!!  my buddy Steve flew up from Tampa to join us as well!! he is a real nut !!!
We mainly fished the White from my Towee,
We caught mostly "Bows"
And a few Browns,
We also ran up the Buffalo for some camping and "Smallie" action!!
We had an awesome dinner, but forgot the plates!!!The bin lids worked out so well, we may never carry plates again!!!
And we caught a bunch of Brown fish too!!!
All in all it was a great trip, good friends, good food, great fishing, and a lot of laughs!!! Only had one bad day of weather, and it was the best fishing day!!! we did have to get off the water for some lightning once!! can't comlain about that!! i look forward to getting bak on the White and Buffalo again soon!!!

What part of the river were you guys on?

We stayed right at confluence of White and Buffalo, a place called Rileys' Station. which sadly will be auctioned to the highest bidder next week.

Yeah, really sad, this was our last sow bug at Rileys', Miles And Michelle have been friends for years. they will be staying in the area, they still own around 70 acres that they are going to still outfit out of, phone #s and website will remain the same.

Nice trip Eric! Did anyone catch any monsters this trip?

I would love to, but it depends on finances at the time. Plus I will probably be in a night class then as well.  :(
