What's everybody been tying?

With the rivers in the mess they are, what's been on the vice for you guys? I played around with some Lake stuff for a bit. Didn’t take long to realize that Center Hill is a tough enough nut to crack on conventional gear, and on the fly, it’s just stupid. Except,,,, Gar and Drum. There are few places I’ve found where huge Gar are aplenty and Drum are frequently cruising the gravel bars in search of craws and whatever else they can find. So I’ve been working on those flies, and also some Trout stuff. Had some great Trout trips last year. If you can find the right water that’s not being hammered with people,, it’s pretty good. So I have been tying some MikeA (as Dan Powers used to call them) PT’s and the usual tailwater midges. And of course the  Blue Vein Throbbers that the Craigs like so well..  :)
