Long Hunter

Made it out for our first hike of the year ahead of the cold front and enjoyed checking out the winter pool at Percy Priest.
We had the lake to ourselves and enjoyed a couple of miles of solitude. Found a few good fishing spots to check out when things warm up.

Hope to cross paths with some of you in the coming year.

That is a nice hiking area. Camping out there isn't bad at all when the weather is a little warmer. Lake wind can make it a little chilly at night if it is too cool.

I've fished it many a time over the years, love winter pool for scouting, no telling what you'll find.
