Was just thinking....I know it's sometimes dangerous...I think it would be a good idea to put a section on the board for people who would like to let others know when/where they are going fishing, or even have an open spot on the boat.  Kinda like a fish/meet other flyfishers.  I know I have an open seat on my boat about half the time and wouldn't mind if someone tagged along to fish.  Just an idea.

Wouldn't be a bad idea as I know I do too and would like to meet others to fish with.

How about some ideas for a name and description of this board?

Thanks Mike for adding it to the list.  When I get the disk in my neck back where it is supposed to be I'll be posting then.  Take care.   Gary

I am excited about the new forum; however I was shocked to see that it is a public forum that can be viewed by everyone without signing in to the board. Guess it won't get as much use as I had hoped for :-\

I can hide it but I thought that if somebody had an open seat on a boat a lurker might sign in... If you want it private I'll make it private. Let me know what you think.

Mike,
Private might be a better idea.  Leaving phone numbers etc. open to the public makes me kinda weary.

Thanks,
Gary
