Duck 4-9-08
« on: April 09, 2008, 06:57:05 PM »
The clouds of the early afternoon seemed to be building and I thought for sure that it might rain as I headed on to the Duck below the dam.  I got on at about 2:15 pm and the fishing was very good for about 1 1/2 hours until the skies cleared.  During that time the trout and other fish loved the Green and Black Wooly Buggers.  Caught a total of 12 RB trout and 2 other fish - which looked like they belonged in a large pond.  After the sun came out, the fish went into a witness protection program and could not be found.  A good afternoon, all in all,  since I had the river where I was fishing all to myself.   :)
