Plateau report:Easter weekend

Caney Fork at HWY 111 bridge looks low and clean. Pond fishing was slow. Caught a few small bass with rapalas and later in the evening when the wind died down picked up a few bass on top with a #16 renegade as they were taking midges.
Savage Gulf is pumping lots of water into the Collins and it was high and muddy just like Rocky River. Seems like a couple more weeks before that area warms up and water flows return to normal.

Nice weather to get out to such pretty places. Morells should be sprouting up....a good alternative to the high water dilemma.
