Title: Geese?
Post by: Grouse on September 20, 2022, 10:22:29 AM
Figured it's worth asking here, as anyone on here has spent many years on the water. I'm an avid waterfowler and I love decoying geese. Just thought I'd see if anyone here can think of any rivers/lakes they've been on that seemed to have quite a bit of them around. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I see them in the spring lots of places mating. But after that they seem to disappear till I start to see the flying V's.

Old Hickory use to have a bunch, hunting there is tough due to the number of Karens living on the water.

I try to avoid placed like that. Just not worth having to listen to them.

West TN and Arkansas are the only places I know of that have really good hunting.

I make a few trips out to the flyway every year when the getting  is good. Not a ton of Canada geese out that way but lots of specs, snows, Ross, and blues. Since posting this I have found the mother lode of Canada geese 😁😁
