Title: Hard to find no slip for boat floor.
Post by: MikeA on October 17, 2007, 02:05:52 PM
I've been looking for a long time for the perfect flooring material. I HATE CARPET! This stuff looks very promising. The overstock stuff in grey is only $35 for a 45x60 sheet. I could do the Supreme for under $200.

WHOOPS!!!,  I don't want to make ya'll sick or anything, but we just threw away (3 or 4 weeks ago) enough stuff like that in blue/grey.  Probably enough for about 6+boats.  We also had some resilient tile with traction, but I just looked and it's not there anymore.  Amazing what you have left over from jobs sometimes!  Woodcraft had a pile of anti-fatigue mats out of similar stuff that they had on sale a couple of months ago or more for something like $9.00 per mat ( about 2' x 4' or maybe bigger).  I think it was a special buy, but they may have some left over.  Their regular price is about $3.00 to $4.5 per sf for 3/8" thick material up to $5.00 per sf for 1/2" material in up to 3' x 10' pieces.  Don't have any idea of whether they had UV protection in them though.  I was going to buy some for my shop, but then scrounged 3 mats from a Grocery Store we were renovating.  Heck, the space had a lotto machine that was left in it also.  Almost went into the lotto ticket business in my spare time.  Think they would have caught me?

Only if you sold me the 10,000,000 winning ticket.  :'(

We could have probably arranged something!  But some fool ran over it with a bobcat.  The state wanted it back, but didn't want it after that!  :o
