Took a brief visit to the river on Friday PM. Arrived about 3 and they blew the whistle at 5 CDT. There were happy fish for the brief period we were there. Pulled 10 out of the upper run below the bridge in about 30-40 minutes and then started downstream. Water looks good, fish are active, and the midges are hatching.

We were at Sewanee, it was a slow afternoon, and the wife wanted to get out... so she sat under the bridge in a lounge chair with the dog and read and watched me pull in little guys before I moved downriver.
