Has anyone ever fished Battle creek below Monteagle mtn? I have heard there is decent trout fishing. Is this a good creek to float?

it is floatable but i think you can wade it all...i live around there but never fished it

Not floatable in the small area where trout are. Some smallies and redeye in flat water , crappie some times. Watch where you go it's all private land around it.
