Title: Priest Sat. night
Post by: icthus on May 26, 2009, 05:51:06 PM
After a long days work I was sitting around the house wondering what to do.  The wife told me to take the boat out and go fishing.  I fell out of the chair, spilt my spitter, grabbed my rod and left.  Shocking, no schools of bait, no busting fishing, and no hybrid once again.  I thought what the heck lets go after some bass.  Fished where all the bass masters fish and caught one.  I went to another point and saw a deep swirl in the water.  Two cast and a toad jerked the line out of my hand.  Feeling great by my latest action I kept on working myself down the point.  I saw the same swirl again 60 or 70 feet from where i just came from.  I stripped of 70' of line and hit the spot between a couple of trees.  Two strips and a thud, (crap I'm in the tree).  Next thing you know a bass goes ape on top of the water, I am laughing like a kid, making all sorts of rudcuss and after a brief fight I land him.  24" measured and I could put my fist in his mouth and not touch either side.  Biggest bass of my life in TN.  Soon after I saw Noah building an ark and left.

Not a bad Sat. night on priest after all,

Icthus

No photos, no witness.  I'm not sure that this might be a fishing tale. ::)  Next time take me with you. ;)

Boys,

You should know by now there is no bs'er sitting behing this computer.  I tell all truths accept: about my fishing location, how I am fishing, what I am throwing, how I got there, what color, size of fly, tippet, lenght of leader, and how crappy jets are .  Besides that I am pure.

No lies just no camera that day,

Icthus

Suuuurrrrrrrre. I believe you.  [rollingeyes]

And yesterday I took some guys trap shooting instead of fishing because the river is blown out. I didn't shoot while they were there to witness it but after they left I shot 100 straight. [lookingupatsky]

;D ;D :o ;D ;D

I sense some jealousy, we are getting windows and you are getting snow melt and rain, hmmmm.  Sounds like Karma has caught up to you.   ;D
