It's hiking season again and I just read the Bear Notice at the FRIENDS OF SOUTH CUMBERLAND STATE RECREATION AREA, INC website.  http://www.friendsofscsra.org/

Be aware if go into these areas. If you don't go into these areas, you should!

I heard that on the news this time last year. They keep migrating further and further West.

Black bear have also been spotted around the Fall Creek Falls area and unfortunately, are being shot and dumped along the side of the roads. No wonder "hunters" sometimes get a bad rap.
I'm going backpacking in the Firey Gizzard this weekend. Thanks for the heads up Mike!

Man that sounds like like fun Brady! The fall colors should be going good by then.
