Ms Grump & i hit a 5 1/2 mile trail yesterday, lot's of interesting things to see & a easy hike, i learned that i don't need 4 lens , a vertical grip & she complained about the heavy tripod that i didn't use :o ;D

5 1/2 miles :o have you lost your mind driving the dodge that far into a state park. :P

Amazing how quickly you realize you only need one to two lenses to take all the pics you need that day. ;D
Nice shots, I like the first one. Would hate to fall in that hole.

Vertical grip is a must (but come to think about it, what I like is the vertical shutter release), but my greatest advice is to go black. Then all that you would need is the 18-200 with a TC and you have that hiking thing made! :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D ;D

They say once you go black, you never go back ;D
