I just started his Stillwater Strategies book and as expected it’s fantastic. Maybe by next year I’ll be ready to fish Dale Hollow Lake. I really have also enjoyed his Trout Flies book and I consider it the best tying book I’ve ever owned. For any new tiers out there “Trout Flies” is all you need as a beginner tying reference IMO. I’m always opening this book, even after owning it for four years now. Dave covers all aspects of tying from material selection to how fish the patterns in his book. I just wanted to share a good read and bench side companion. Lately I’ve been looking for a good midge book anybody got any suggestions?

Midge Magic :o
Tying Small flies by Ed Engle is another, Micropatterns by Darrell Martin will blw ya away being you're really into the technical aspect of it, or you better be just to read it.

I almost bought tying small flies this weekend. I also gave Masters of the nymph a good look too. Hastings in the Boro has both of these books used. I read on the FF board that Masters of the Nymph is supposed to be a heck of a good book. I might have to go back and pick those up unless Ebay has them cheaper.
I'll get Midge Magic but I have yet to see it in a book store.
