Well I haven't had much time to shoot with the new camera but I did get out a few. They are 640x640 and I haven't taken the time to get aperture to size them to 800x800. The 400mm L isn't as good in low light as the Sony G due to no IS and the IS lens in the Canon is a 100-400 zoom. The AF on this lens is like lightning and for that reason I've decided to keep it over the IS zoom lens. The cat is the 24-105 L.
L glass is sweet and there are too many to chose from. I just got the 100 Macro and I can't wait to see what the one will do. It has quite the reputation.
