We both had one good fish each follow right to the boat but they wouldn't commit to the fly, then J got this little guy on a spinning rod. The first Musky is a special one no matter the size. Big J had to sit down after that fly follow, said his knees were shaking ???..... ;D

Way to go Jarrod!
Time to break out a cigar, and go chase another. Those follows will haunt you.
Crystal and I got skunked on Saturday, but we found a great looking hole 3/4 miles down from the house....complete with a huge rapid, over 20 ft depth, slow deep swirls and jagged rocks.
Hope to see you guys in the next few weeks.

nice fish, i can't wait for the lakes to ice off out here. one of the local lakes is pretty full of large pike and this year i plan to get a couple on the fly. There has been talk of stocking tiger muskie in another lake as well.

Very nice! I bet that is a rush. :)

Congrats! Even the little guys are awesome. I think I like the color pattern on sub-30 river fish better than on most of the big ones, they tend to be more washed out with less prominent markings.
