This guy gets some serious respect on the Canon forum. Even Ken Rockwell called it the worlds best pocket camera on the market. At $369 I'd consider it if I were in that market.

Those shots from the city are amazing, there is very little wonder that the P&S technology has come so far, that is the bread and butter for most of the camera industy, and these guys are capitalizing on it.  Gotta hand it to the Canikon's they know how to capture market share and grow their business.  I still love my Sony but the technnology and the prices of the new DSLR's hitting the streets these days sure is attractive.

I am seeing more and more of the Sony crowd moving to another brand because of what is being done for the serious photographer by Canon primarily, but also by Nikon and by Pentax.  My Alpha is still a great tool and the more I learn, the more I am finding out that I haven't even come close to using all it's capabilities...yet.  The real story is told in the glass though, and if Sony will step up to the plate and compete, it could change their perception to the DSLR enthusiast.
