If I am not mistaken the 13 year Cicadas will be hatching next year.  ;D

We have had some cicadas this year. But not like a "year" hatch.

Yup and I cant wait...

The 13 year is the hatch that really gets wild here in middle TN. I remember May & June of 1998 like it was yesterday  ;D

We have had some cicadas this year. But not like a "year" hatch.

I was reading on them the other day and they have "straglers" I believe they call them of a brood hatch year that may show up 1 year ahead to 2 year after. Maybe those are the ones we are seeing.

I didn't get to fish it with a fly rod but oh man was it good throwing a tiny torpedo painted black. I can't wait to see it on a fly rod.
