Crystal and I are off to another Virginia Escape to the New River. Fishing and Camping Gear is packed and I'm excited as ever. Hopefully we'll get some good floats before this storm makes it to us on Saturday evening. Can't wait to launch the Green jalopy into the current ;).

Should be a good weekend for it. Watch the gages, as I heard that the dam release is changing over the next few days.

Just got back, unpacked, soggy gear is drying out, I'm showered and warm...Ahhhhh.
I have just discovered I have more stress with the upcoming business purchase than I can imagine.
The trip was AMAZING...one of the best getaways I've ever been on. The temps were perfect, the water was clear as gin, great discoveries of eateries and campsite that will be future destinations for sure. (DEFINITE Gathering Material Guys ;))
Unbelievable water and more than 12 muskies encountered, hooked, followed or seen all in one day!
Crystal and I couldn't have had a better escape. We're already excited about our next revisit and full of the heartache of musky fever Baaad!! Getaways like this make the mess you come home to not quite so bad.
