I fished the caney sunday afternoon. I went with my brother and we took a looooong hike and found some excellent fishing. We were having great luck all day and then the afternoon storms started to move in. Most fish caught were very nice size with only a few recent stockers in the mix. I fished a green krystal bugger all day long and kept getting bites so i never switched flies. My brother caught the biggest rainbow he'd ever landed it was about 19-20 inches. Let's hope that we can keep getting some windows to fish.

Sounds like you guys did better then most. I heard a few reports but all were of small stocker fish. Were you fishing the deeper pools?
I sure hope this flood don't silt up the river again >:(.

Most of the fish caught were in a deeper section between abput 6-10 feet deep. It was in the middle section of the river near some fallen brush. Looks like no windows anytime soon, but i didn't expect a window on sunday/monday either so maybe we will get lucky again.
