Just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone. Some of you guys may know me, some not. I've been chasing these darn submarines for years now(25) ever since I hooked my first one and been "hooked" ever since. Love to talk to like minded guys about anything Muskie related. I figure in another 25 years I might have em half-way figured out. LoL. Don't really want to talk about guiding, just Muskie fishing in general. Man, this sport has really grown in my local area since I first started. Ah, the stories I could tell yall. Hope to meet and talk to you guys and share some adventures. Beit casting, trolling or slinging a fly, IT'S ALL GOOD!
Look forward to chatting Muskies and our awesome Tennessee waters with you(ins).

Welcome to the board Dwayne! Your reputation as a great guy and avid Musky hunter/guide in this area is well known. Looking forward to hearing some of those stories.

Hey Dwayne, Have you ever chased them on Dale Hollow ?

Thanks yall, I have not yet tried the "Dale" but would like to this spring. I'm mostly a river rat, and stay close to home, especially with gas prices. I'd like to try some other streams like the Emory, and Obed. Anybody wanna take me sometime?
Here's yall a quick story: Two years ago while on the river I had a 40 incer follow a bucktail into a figure 8 and all of a sudden turned off, circled around to back of boat and nailed my trolling motor prop. First time was'nt enought for this gal, so she made another circle and nailed the prop again! Second time kinda "stunned" her. Prop was barely turning in water. Quess it looked tasty.
Last spring had a muskie jump right in the boat with us. Dude caught it on a fly rod. That was fun.
Would love to "explore" some water. Thinking about giving up the guide stuff and start enjoying fishing more for the fun of it. There's alot of fishing fun out there to be had.

hey Dwayne, good to see you here...
Need to track down a raft/cataraft for the O. & Em. Lowermost part is fishable out of hard boat at moderate levels, but best water is not. Low water means a long and brutal drag. You can haul a small jon to a few points, but that's a suboptimal approach. Can't run the jet in a Wild & Scenic anyhow. Awesome scenery. Happy to run you around if you want to go play sometime...
Nemo might be a good place to have a git-together for a small gathering of muskie addicts once it warms up a little bit this spring...? Nice campground, awesome scenery, and big toothy critters. Anyone?

Gaspergu,
Count me in! Where is "Nemo"? By your dicription of the place, sounds like a little peice of paradise. I have access to a 12 Coleman. Can we hit the rugged parts with that? I'm guessing this is a "point A to Point B" float?
You let me know when we can smoke a few and I'm there. Thanks for the invite too. Is this the Emory, or Obed?

Hey twohicks,
Another topic in this Muskie named Kelly is someone caught you all filming his show. What time of year were you guys fishing. Was he throwing any of his big articulated patterns?
I didn't catch that show as it aired but will the re-air.

Hello Hickster,
Good to have you aboard! I've got the musky bug bad, and my wife Crystal has it too. Got to fish your neck of the woods this weekend, and I love it the more I explore it. I'm chasin' Nolichucky muskies wich have to be the most stubborn group of fish I've ever chased.
Congrats on the new Musky club, and good luck with the upcoming Dahlberg fishing excursion.
I may have to join in on this Emory/ Obed excursion.

Travis, Larry has canceld until first of March, but Corey is taking him out. I'm taking Keyes Outdoors out the 1st thru the 4th of Feb. to try and get some footage. We got a decent day of filming last year with Keyess on the Collins, but got rained out the next two. They wanted to come back and try to get a winter episode again. Alot of fun,but alot of headace too.
I'd really like for a bunch of us to take an "adventure" trip this spring or early summer. Great way to get to know some of yall and some new water. I'm really interested in exploring some of our scenic rivers around here. NOT for guiding purposes either! I'm cutting way back on that. Time to enjoy more "me" fishing!
Two Hicks,
