ask a local where that bridge is and you will get a strange look :D, to us locals I fished at Hurdlow Bridge. snow and the water was the best looking I've seen in some time. Wading down the middle of the river, throwing an 8 weight with a sink tip, Double Bunnies and Zoo Cougars, got one tear the rod out of your hand hit, other than that no activity, but was a great day to be alive and about.

I've seen people camping on the other side of the river at this bridge in a pop up. What's the deal on that? Will I get shot at if I do it?

I used to think this when putting my boat in there:

The only complaint I have is that location seems to be a dumping ground for dead goats and dogs! Don't ask me why... but its a shame. If it was located in Lincoln County I could get it cleaned up. I would hate to complain to TVA and have that access shut down.
Its a great access point...
If you don't have a boat, go north up river, under the bridge, and fish the 25 ft past the bridge for some nice fish.
If you have a boat, go down river for some great fishing.
