After a year of being off the water I finally got out again. Fished Old Hickory Lake today with a friend of mine. Started out at dark thirty and fished till around 11:00. A great day on the lake with a good deal of fish. Caught shellcrackers, bluegill, warmouths, crappie, drum, catfish, largemouth bass and a few smallies. Topwater was a little slow but the sizes of bass were good. Used sliders, buggers and a few large nymphs. Feels great to be back. Hope you all get out soon.
Ron, Love the 6wt you sold me two years ago, I finally broke it in.
Go catch a fish,
Gary

Sounds great Gary. We'll need to get out. I had a very large bass take a small bluegill, while I was pulling it in. I was using a 3 wt with a small nymph. It startled me. Never had a chance!! Should have used the 6 wt ;D ;D
