Title: New guy here.
Post by: Jesco White on June 14, 2011, 08:33:50 PM
Been fishing the Muskox around here some and was wondering if anyone has fished the CalfKiller much? I've heard they run up there for cooler waters. Any troof to that. I put in at cottons Marina and ran to the mouth the other day. It looks good but I didn't catch anything or get any follows. Anyone got advice. I did REALLY well right below Great falls Dam in the boils the last few years early spring during the spawn but it's been a bit of a dry run lately. Anyone catching em?

Good Evening Jesco,

Great Work on your show!!!!!!  Maybe you will be lucky enough to make the paper or a magazine.  I've been there and done it (magazine that is, no one cares I promise). Been on tv no one cares. Honestly, no one cares so why ruin a great fishery for your own ideaology of success

  Why, I ask?

Why would you run your dumpster like a parade on thanksgiving day about the musky?

You sound like a fella who is going to pimp out his guiding business on someone else's board.

Good work, not your pal,
Pal

ps..maybe if your lucky enough I can see your face while I am pissing at a hockey game.

I got a buddy that fishes the calfkiller quite a bit, says its been fishing pretty good. He spends alot of time chasing musky so I know he puts his time in. The boils are excellent in the spring and if u get up there during the week u basically have the whole area to yourself. Just keep going back, cause they are in there.

Pal,

Why are always looking to see what kind of watch everyone has on in the restroom? :o

LOL,

At the hockey game last year the TWRA had a picture of a guy wearing waders (like you said on the Calf Killer) holding a 35" plus musky.

Atlanta's already rubbing off on you,

"Big fat 0 and some twisted up braid" sounds like pretty much every single #@$%& muskie trip I've ever had.   >:(

I feel ya, BD. If you ever want company on a muskie trip, lemme know, after all, misery shared is misery halved, right ?
