That is crazy! Back in Missouri, we could trach snow geese using NEXRAD radar... Never thought a mayfly hatch would be big enough to show up!!!

I read an article once about MI, they have to use street sweepers to clean the roads when the hatch goes bonkers, they say it's just like driving on ice :o

I saw that the other day. A LOT of bugs for sure.

I was in the middle of one in Canada. Tried to fish that evening at the camp, and couldn't. In your hair, in your nose, in your mouth. The next morning there were miles of matted spents floating on the lake - miles and miles. What a waste as nothing seemed to be eating them. The Cree said that the bears would gorge themselves on them, but the pike, walleye, perch didn't seem to touch them.
