Title: Mud Puppy
Post by: David L. Darnell on March 21, 2007, 06:33:22 PM
my uncle was down on my bank fishing for catfish and black perch this morning as I left to take the little lad to school. While I was gone he caught a couple of big chum minnows, cut one in half and put it on his hook and said he figured a small cat was feeding, set the hook and had a 24"ish Mud Puppy clamped down on the cut bait, got it up on the bank and it gave loose of the bait, I'd like to have seen that creature, would have gotten a picture of it.

That was a big one! I've caught one on West Fork fishing for Stripe. They're pretty cool looking.
