Title: OHL 9-13-12
Post by: Gary on September 13, 2012, 02:09:43 PM
Hello everyone,

It's been a while.  Finally got out today for a few hours. Threw the fly rod and caught a bunch of warmouths and bluegill. Managed a couple of nice drum but no bass. The bite was slow but fun.  Threw buggers and some articulated flies I've been toying with.  Good to wet a line. Too many things going on to get out. Hope everyone else is fishing more than me. Good luck.

Go catch a fish,
Gary

Thanks for the TR.

Is Old Hickory known for Warmouths?  I haven't caught one of those is years and would love to see them again!  I might have to make a trip over to target them.

OHL isnt really known for it warmouths. It's just a good place to find them in abundance. Throw you fly right on the edge of the bank.  Crawfish, buggers, poppers just about anything will work.  They aren't picky. Good luck and don't catch all of them.

Go catch a fish,

Gary
