I've had BassPro branded ones on all my boats so far, have had good service out of them.
AllPro are made in USA on their better models.
I will need a two bank charger. any opinions ?
about the only thing I will do to the new filly besides putting numbers on her after she arrives in the stable ;D

Minkota! I have had one on the last 4 or 5 boats I have had and never had a problem. They do keep a battery charged if you remember to plug them up. They are kinda heavy if weight is a issue.
-
I have a Minn Kota that is going in the Gheenoe project boat, it is on the heavy side.

DualPro is over in LaVergne, TN. Supposedly they are repairable vs not with the other brands.
-
DualPro. I've owned several over the years and they are a local company.
-
I've had multiples of both brands mentioned here in various sizes. Personally I've had better luck with the MinnKota brand but then it's hard to say if the implied difference is legitimate since they were purchased sequentially meaning that they were dissimilar generations...ugh that came out weird...what I'm trying to get at there is that the brands purchased more recently may have benefited from maturation of the technology in general.
Good grief...I'm going to quit while I'm behind on this one. Work "mandated" that I get a new Iphone today even though my Droid worked just fine and I'm on technology overload........ :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

I HATE getting new electronic devices and all the BS you have to go through to set them up just to get back to where you were before you started --- especially when what you had before met your needs just fine!!!

I have dual pro on the big boat and it's gave me no issues over the years.
Owned a BPro brand prior and ended up taking it back. But kind of like Tim was saying tech has came along a ways since then so they may not be as hit or miss.

Tim get ready to hate your new phone: horrible photo image quality- bleached out skin on low light faces, shitty GPS choices-Droid maps and gps options where so much better, horrible text touch screen--your typos will skyrocket, and a screen that will hang up/mute phone calls when you are trying to talk to someone. I lose connection on about 10 calls per week from the damned screen--even when I minimize it.
iPhone 5 = JUNK! >:(
Keep your Droid if you can.
I have the DualPro 3 bank charger, and it works great. Very slim profile in my storage box of my boat, and I have a seamless external plug in, so you can keep the bin locked and still charge your batteries, like at a hotel parking lot.
Works like a champ.

Not to thread hi-jack but my wife and co-worker both have iPhone 5's with no issues. Now on the other hand, I have two guys that work for me that received 3, count them 3 DOA Droids. There are lemons everywhere, no matter what phone you use.

Yea I've heard some unhappy people with the 5. I think the early versions were buggy. Mine has been great, much much faster then my 4.
