Musky....corner pocket:
After a good morning of topwater smallie fishing, I decided to switch gears, and pull out the big flies for musky. My brother Jay called it perfectly:
"We didn't get any hits out of that good corner from smallies...I betcha' there's a musky in there that has them spooked."
First cast of the fall season, I tease the fly out of the deep water back to the boat, and this juvenile fish crosses the shallow water to crush it at the boat.
A couple good explosions and somersaults, and I had this spunky fish in the net. A great way to start the season. No other sightings, but it's just starting to get right.

Great report Pal,
One question…"Did you pimp the chain", because if you played in the NFL then you could start thumping your chest, stair at yourself in the mirror, and of coarse…Pimp the chain for doing something awesome. I would personally start showing the gold chick-lits, and thick rope around your neck.
Just kidding…
Great fish,
Pal
