Title: February 6
Post by: dbradyh on February 06, 2016, 07:29:14 PM
Managed to visit the Duck with my wife and daughter today.Stopped by the dam for a bit only to see high flows and brown water..... managed to pick up one small trout before heading upstream to hike the shoreline for a few miles and see what we could find.Caught several 12" large mouth and caught my first small mouth of the year with a rapala and 4lb ultralight spinning rod. Found all of the fish in the coves around obvious structure.

Wish we were able to make it out earlier in the day as the fish were cooperative! Get out that way if you can.

Nice smallie Brady!
It's getting about time for the smallies and walleyes to start chomping.  Way to get a head start.
