I finally found a place to buy a casting/knee brace for a boat. Thanks Grumpy!

I like the idea of the rotating knee brace, but not the $650.00 price tag. That is ridiculous.

I spent a total, whopping, 1 day standing in a knee brace during the Montana trip, so I guess I'm not very qualified. I remember at the time thinking, this thing should turn.

If the butt seat folds nearly verticle, that might be a great compromise.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

WHAT???!!!  You guys don't like my $12.69 PVC casting brace!!!??

Actually, I like the though of the double leg brace at Hyde as long as it is stationary.  the one that swivels could turn into another dip in the drink!!    Especially for someone that is not so agile to begin with.  I like the feel of that  solid station to lean against when I am in the front.

It's just plain hard to beat the driftboat style brace, you can really throw your weight into it to lock yourself in, the other one from Cabelas could be a near miss.
I just thought of another place, NRS, check them out for braces on the rowing/fishing frames for rafts.
