A few from the Smokies
« on: October 03, 2009, 09:45:34 PM »
Well took the family to the smokies last week to just chill out.  Got a few pics and a few fish but, no fish pics.  Kinda hard to lug everything around while trying not to fall and fish at the same time, left the P&S at home :-\ :-\ .  Lot of water up there right now and this fall should be great.

Thanks guys, lots of bwo coming off Craig.  Water was up, gin clear, and pretty fast compared to the last few years.  Park waters fished pretty well but if you really want to get humbled try the trophy waters in Cherokee.  Fished the Oconaluftee trophy section in Cherokee NC and unless you had a 20-22 size BWO with the absolute perfect drag free drift with no more than 6X you could hang it up.  But if the stars aligned and you hooked up there where some nice bows to be had.
