Smallmouth/Muskie report
« on: January 29, 2006, 01:37:25 PM »
BD and I Fished my Secret place Sat in hopes of finding Smallmouth and Muskie. We managed to catch 4 Smallmouth 1 of which was 4.5 pounds, and had several solid Muskie eats that did not result in a hooked fish. One Muskie did a textbook follow to the boat and slammed the bait just a few feet away.

Animals spotted were:
Red Tailed Hawk, Mink, who was better at fishing a certain hole then we were, and a Red Fox. It was a great day to be on the water.

Nice one BD.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

First fishing report on the board back in Jan of 2006!!! Muskie in the secret spot LOL. I used to try hard to protect the Musky in that secret river, I mean place....

There is a treasure chest of great fishing reports and 10+ years of memories. I knew when I was making these posts they would be fun to come back down the road.
