Got my hands on a bottle of this from my local libations shop (they know I like aged bourbons and rye's).
I bought a bottle of barrel proof Saz last year from the Antique collection and it was phenomenal. This is standard proof (90) and is excellent. Nice hints of caramel, spice notes, strong notes of oak and a that very distinct rye flavor which is very much in the background in most bourbons. This is best enjoyed neat but at a bare minimum, a cube of ice will suffice if you don't like the full strength on your palette.
I would highly recommend this rye and even the younger versions are very tasty and easy on the palette and very approachable.

... and very approachable.
Does that mean affordable? ;D

In fact it is very affordable. ;) But approachable from it is young and drinkable. :)
