Title: Barrel Trolley IPA
Post by: toddro on October 25, 2012, 09:54:28 PM
I picked up a six pack for $5.99 on sale and I paid $5.99 too much for it.  It is absolutely horrible.  I am taking the 5 bottles I still have back to the store and getting something else or demanding my money back.  It smells like musty, rotten fruit and tastes like burnt caramel and rotten apples.  Stay away.  Far, far away...

The same is true for the BBC (blueridge brewing company) IPA.  YUCK.

Are you saying the, "fishing sucks right now" or you saying the beer is good.  I don't get this post. Are there a lot of people on the river, did the night hatch ever come off last week? Those who are wander, may not always be lost, but the post has me confused.  On a high note, the mexican resturant is pretty good up in Gordonsville, and the new Los Compadres in Lebanon is good as well.

PAL--

I thought you might have gotten a bad bottle, but beeradvocate rates it pretty low.  Surprising since most of the North CA IPA are pretty darn good. At least you can use it to kills slugs or bring it to leave at a party (and swill their good booze instead ;D)

The hatch has come off for me the last 2 times I have been out, and there is no one on the river.  I need a ride in your boat, Pal.  And I will bring the better beer...
