Sam Adams Porch Rocker is a good one too...similar beer/lemon combo but a Helles beer base instead of wheat like the Shandy.

I'd have to try it again - the one I had was pretty rough and I could barely get it down...

I liked it, but the crispness of the lager cut through the aftertaste.  I now know that I like the aftertaste that lingers so I am going to stick w/ a regular west coast styled IPA.

Seems to be a polarizing brew. Glad to hear that my tastebuds aren't broke as this one reminds me of Flinstones vitamins.  Yuck.

Leinie's Sunset Wheat on the other hand is fantastic.  Give that one a try.

Couldn't agree more. I am a hop guy through and through and although I like the IPL, I missed that pop at the end.

i would like to suggest...Shift by fat tire.  In fat tire fashion, the beer is delightful, fun, and amazing awesome.  The beer starts off like a sweetwater 420 and quickly moves into something a lot smoother.  The flavor does not rape your taste buds like most IPA's or Pale Ales.

and with a side of smallie or crappie---it is delicious,
