Got hooked on this coffee bean a few years ago. Thought I'd share it. Other than some very expensive cuban coffee that I was given, this is the best I'd had. It makes an amazing espresso with perfect crema with ease. Mix in a shot of Ryans Irish Cream and you're in for a real treat.

Sounds like a good one to try. Generally just a brew person but been wanting to pop my toe in the espresso arena.

If you do you may never truly enjoy a cup of brown water again. :P It's simple really, a good burr grinder and a Gagia Classic Espresso Machine. They'll last you for many many years.

Have a burr grinder. Wouldn't grind coffee any other way. Now just to talk the wife into the Gagia. ;D

I love espresso! I've never had a proper espresso machine per se but have owned several of the "Moka Pot" style stovetop espresso makers. Steve, if you want to get into this without buying one of the high-end machines, this is a good way to go. My favorite manual maker is the Aeropress, but it's a little more involved. They sell these at World Market locally and BB&B too I think. Oddly enough, it's made by the same company that made the Aerobee frisbee popular in the 80's. But yeah, if you can get approval from Mama, the Gagia is very nice.

The abover must have missed the memo. It's March 8th. In support, Mike hosted a Finer Things Club ManTea. We had hot pocket finger sandwiches and nice coffees. There's always next year.

I guess you missed the part about adding some Irish Cream? When are we going to go pile up at Pals place? I'm craving a hobo dinner. Hey Pal, are you gonna eat your hobo dinner!

lol...
Being 10,000 miles up and three espressos deep makes for a long flight. As for the pals excluding river-dick are all welcome my house is small but cool and dry. June and July the silver kings are in and the weather is a bit more predictable.
Pal, watch the fire—- dude are you really yelling at yours shoes hello?????
Pal- why would you hit the break that hard the boat just slid off. Efficient I guess let’s fish
Pals out

Sounds like you have what I had in '95. I went to the Longest Student Health Center at State and they asked if I wanted a male doctor or a female. I said whichever can get here first. She juggled my junk and prescribed some cream and two rounds of antibiotics and to this day I'm clear as a bell. It's uncomfortable for both parties, but necessary. Saying "I'm sorry" a lot helps. I've lost her number. Sorry.
