A new platform
« on: May 09, 2023, 12:36:20 PM »
Well, after many months. The maverick has a new polling platform. I had one fabricated last year after putting on a new engine and the saying… you get what you paid for.  $600 and an uncorking platform.  I asked around found quality T tops.  Had a 6 week wait, but I must say it was well worth it. Let a pal know when you are heading down and maybe we can go site fish some reds and tarpon.

Have a great day pals,
Pal

I can be there in July. Nice rig. I remember the night I found that boat. If I remember right, we paid like $2300 for it. Insane.

I've been offered 16k with the old engine on it.  Ive upgraded the speakers, GPS, and trailer.  Jess has asked if we could sell the boat and get something bigger.  I almost moved her out after that conversation.

I kid-best boat on the water.  Dry, drafts next to nothing, and easy to poll.

What side of the state are you going to?

Not sure yet. Waiting on pal to make his mind up. If he can't go I'm gonna prolly fly alone. Pals don't pal around like they used to.

I would be cognoscente of the seaweed bloom heading to the east coast.  They said June July it’s going to hit.  I will let you know as well.

Needs some of these. Not super pretty but they keep your running line in the boat.

Those would be helpful on the windy days for sure.  Normally I dump the line in the bottom of the boat.

Cheers Pals
