Fishing Log
« on: October 10, 2007, 08:51:28 PM »
When I first started fly fishing I was religious about keeping a log, conditions, fly, weather, etc and referenced it often. Then, due to life, work and such, I stopped. I want to start again.

Anyone have any good suggestions for format if I decide to go electronic? Nice spreadsheet, Access DB, specialty application?

All feedback and site references are welcome. Google searches yield a lot of data I just thought I would get some feedback here before I go weeding through all the options.

TIA!

I just use the composition books that you can find at wally world. It's kinda like a large composition book that you would use for a college English class.

I began my journal for my own referrence in the beginning. Now, I'm thinking that it would be a great opportunity for a keepsake to pass on to my children.

Don't have any good suggestions for an electronic version, however; I would hope that it had very good search capabilities.

I have been thinking about starting a blog, but I'm not much of a writer. I may go ahead and do it anyway.
