Elk River 2-3-008
« on: February 04, 2008, 09:48:40 AM »
The day started off with sun and warmth that drifted to clouds and finally a light rain.  I arrived at TF Dam around 10:45 am and there were two trucks in the parking lot.  On the water around 11 am.  Never found anything that worked in about two hours there.  Saw about 6 other fishermen and they reported the same.  The smaller fish were feeding on something but they were not interested in anyone's offering.

I talked to one spin fisherman who had been down to Farris Creek Bridge earlier and he said that he and a buddy had some luck with a Rooster Tail.

I left about 1:15 pm when I determined the fish were smarter than me, at least on this day.
