Headed to tennessee
« on: February 10, 2008, 10:11:23 PM »
I'm flying into nashville to visit the family for a week starting next friday. I was pretty excited to come fish the caney but it looks like they are gonna be cranking out the water for a while. I will probably fish the elk a couple of times because it is really close to my parents house. What would a good alternative be in SE tennessee for a daytrip? Anyone heard a hiawassee report lately?

I've got a few days to tie before the trip, throw a few pattern suggestions my way if you have any.

Adam, with a little luck & no more rain, they may cut the wheels back on the Caney by then.

I m so jealous you are getting to head home but not to jealous my wife flew to huntsville this weekend for an interview so I maybe getting to move back to the southeast again yippeeeee
The more I fish the more I realize it isn t about the fishing.  The older I get the more I realize it is about the moments God has hand crafted just for me.
