Florida trip
« on: April 10, 2008, 06:57:52 PM »
Heading down to Tampa, Indian Rocks Beach area tomorrow to take care of my nephews and do some fishing.  I have been tying like a mad man for the past three weeks and cant wait to get some salt on them.  No Tarpon fishing this time, but the snook are moving back to the lights and out in the mangroooooves.  Weather looks to be ok, reports coming soon.  This time tom. night I will be eating conche and getting ready to load up the boat.

Blessings

Good luck buddy! Tell mom and dad I'll see em soon. ;D
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Your in for a lot of fun!

I Just got back from a 16 day trip to Englewood just South of Tampa.  The fishing was FANTASTIC!  The snook where in the Mangrooves and on the oyster bars.  We caught quite a few nice snook, as well as Jack.  I also fished the inlet near Estero and caught grouper, flounder,  and trout.  Feeding the porposies and watching the sea turtles was a lot of fun also.

Cant wait for September and October.   Going back for three more weeks of fishing!
