Chilly out there.
« on: September 21, 2006, 10:22:13 AM »
Went out at 5:30 this AM and it was a little brisk. I actually had to run the heat for a little while on my drive to work. I love that feeling on a cold morning when I've underdressed for the weather and the air from the vents in my truck finally starts to warm up sending goose bumps up my arms.

Is it Summer yet?  :'(
Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all.

She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

I hear you man.

I spent Saturday afternoon and A L L day Sunday working in the yard. One project was re-seeding the lawn. Rained on it Monday, but not Tuesday. Need to keep it wet for the first few days. This morning at 4:15 I was out in the front yard setting the sprinkler up. I bent down to adjust it and the dang thing came unbottoned from the hose. Soaked my arm and most of me from the waist down on the front side.

I was shivering before I got it fixed and the back yard going. Dang grass seed anyway.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
