I have been trying to read this book. I find it to be interesting to some extent, but it is also boring. I think it has put me to sleep four or five nights, and I am still on the first chapter.

Hmmm, sounds like a John Maxell kind of writer.  I am told that he is the best in leadership, however, I can never finish one of his books.  I say put it down and pick up a Scott Waldie book you only live once.

I will second the Scott Waldie recommendation. "Travers" is a great series!

I finished the book finally, and I really began to enjoy it about 1/2 way through. I like the way it shows the difference in methods and opinions. I guess over all , it was a pretty good book.

"21:Bringing down the house" by Ben Mezrich.  It'll make you want to move to Vegas and start counting cards.  I also liked "Charlotte's Web" in the hardback edition.
Who is John Galt?

Think about this. With a title of "Wisdom of the Guides", it's no wonder.

I mean, they might as well have said "The Truth and Only The Truth, As Told By Fishermen Everywhere"

 ;D

Oh well,  I'm going back to visit some folks in "Travers" in a few days. Maybe sit in Scott's seat at the bar.
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."
