Nice.

Which of the two would you like better in the back ground there?

The boat on the right is a maxed out Key Lime 16' Super except I have a 15hp Tohatsu 4 stroke and CMC trim instead of a 40 hp.

Raised front and rear decks with livewell and storage. The Center console lets me stand or sit to drive. I like to stand when running in shallow water.

Fuel efficiency took preference to speed.

It'll do 19.5 mph by my gps and run all day on less then 3 gallons.

Very nice boat. You should show a few pics of the layout.

My preferred boat for the Elk is the 15'4" Highsider. It has a front deck ( not raised) and a Classic center box turned lengthwise.

With a lower front deck you can brace your lower legs against the sides when standing in choppy water.

They won't turn over but you can fall out as with any boat.

I think they were designed for that :-\

I've been designing a removable grab and leaning bar since I steer the 15'4" remotely from the front deck when fishing by myself.

Gives me 15 more feet from the TM to sneek in. ;D

"I couldn't ask for 3 more loyal friends."

I'll bet the poor little toon feels like the red headed step child.  ;D
Yesterday, I was at the bottom. I was at the bottom of a valley, in the river. Then my eyes hiked up the mountains to the snow capped peaks. I thought, "When I am at this lowest place I can be, standing in a river, everything is looking up."

I have never even sat in the toon. My brother bought it a couple of years ago and we made a trade for a CB radio he wanted.

Much too easy to hook up to a trailer and fish from a Noe.

We did tie it on top of the 15'4" and haul it to the river when he first got it.

Just wall decoration now but it still holds air, a little faded though.
